Validating xml file
The W3C XML Security Working Group has published eight (First Public) Working Drafts for review, including "XML Signature 1.1" and "XML Encryption 1.1".Members of the WG would appreciate feedback on these documents, with special attention to the algorithms and other proposed changes. The Load method brings the document into memory and has overloaded methods available to take data from each of the different formats. There is also a Load Xml method that reads XML from a string.CMIS defines generic/universal CMS capabilities, and the interface is layered on top of existing CM systems.
For more information, see White Space and Significant White Space Handling when Loading the DOM.
All applications that read input have a parser of some kind, otherwise they'd never be able to figure out what the information means.

It is also anticipated that the group will produce a CMIS Reference Implementation (RI) and a CMIS Technology Compatibility Kit (TCK).

While reading an XML file, a parser checks the syntax (pointy brackets, matching quotes, etc) for well-formedness, and reports any violations (reportable errors). In the process, default values and datatypes (if specified) can be added to the in-memory result of the validation that the validating parser gives to the application.(and lots of other stuff too).
